Role summary

The Program Manager will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams (Quality, Engineering, Operations) to address supply chain challenges, including pricing, lead times, and quality issues. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data, monitoring inventory and supplier performance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The role also involves assisting with documentation, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems, and experience with technical documentation and quality methodologies are required.

Position Summary

The Program Manager works closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, and Operations—to resolve supply issues, maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, monitor supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The position also assists with documentation, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, lead times, shortages, or quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning to avoid shortages or excess stock
  • Support supplier performance monitoring (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness)
  • Assist with sourcing activities, including supplier identification and RFQs
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and met
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain efficiency and process flow
  • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with audits, corrective actions, and supplier communications as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance, or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
  • Experience with GD&T, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with SPC, CAPA, and FMEA methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within aerospace machining or a related industry
  • Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and corrective action processes
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 / AS9100)
  • Experience working with domestic and/or international suppliers

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
