About The Role
Roblox is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and evolving our critical infrastructure for managing compute workloads. This role is ideal for a professional with over six years of experience in software development, particularly with a strong background in Kubernetes and proficiency in Go programming language. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that support our platform's core operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system observability, reliability, and performance, contributing to the overall stability and scalability of our infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in Go programming language, with a solid understanding of system design and architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep understanding of system reliability, observability, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
