Role summary
NetSage is seeking a Senior Software Tool Developer to create advanced software tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and users to transform research concepts and prototypes into operational applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and experience in transitioning research software to production. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with eight years of relevant experience is required, with alternative degree/experience combinations accepted. Proficiency in Java, Python, Rust, C++, and TypeScript, along with experience in IDEs like Visual Studio and source code management with GitLab, is essential. Experience with automated testing, debugging, configuration management, and release processes is also required.
