Role summary
NetSage is seeking a Principal Software Tool Developer to create advanced software tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to transform research concepts and algorithms into operational applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and experience in transitioning research software to production. Required qualifications include a relevant degree with 11 years of experience (or equivalent advanced degrees/experience), proficiency in Java, and programming experience with Python, Rust, C++, and TypeScript. Experience with IDEs like Visual Studio and source code management tools like GitLab is also necessary, along with expertise in automated testing, debugging, configuration management, and release processes. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is mandatory.
