Role summary
Nitra is seeking a Product Manager to develop payroll, recruiting, and workforce management solutions for healthcare practices. This role involves understanding customer needs, translating feedback into requirements, and collaborating with engineering and design to deliver impactful B2B fintech products. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of product management experience, a strong understanding of B2B software and fintech, and proficiency in using data, SQL, or BI tools to inform product decisions and track success metrics. This is a hybrid role with a focus on driving impact and ownership within a rapidly scaling company.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Own product discovery by interviewing practice owners, office managers, and controllers to understand existing payroll, hiring, and staffing workflows.
-
Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, PRDs, tickets, and MVP scopes. Prioritize the backlog in partnership with engineering and design.
-
Build and launch payroll features that integrate with Nitra’s cards, BillPay, and accounting products, including payroll funding, tax filing, and general ledger synchronization.
-
Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party partners across payroll, background checks, job boards, and credentialing.
-
Develop recruiting and workforce management workflows for clinical and front-desk roles, including job postings, applicant tracking, onboarding, and shift coverage.
-
Partner with compliance and cross-functional teams to address payroll tax, wage-and-hour, and employment requirements across states.
-
Define and track product success metrics, including activation, payroll adoption, time-to-hire, and shifts filled, using data to inform product decisions.
-
Partner with sales and customer success to support product launches, demos, and customer-facing materials.
You have:
-
2+ years of experience in product management, associate product management, product operations, or a related role with exposure to product development.
-
Experience working on or shipping B2B software or fintech products and features.
-
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements.
-
Comfort working with data, including experience with SQL or BI tools, and a habit of using metrics to guide decisions.
-
Curiosity about how businesses operate, particularly how money and people move through an organization.
-
An ownership mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
