Role summary

Nordic Naturals is seeking a Remote Digital Merchandising Lead to join their DTC eCommerce Sales team. This role will own organic content strategy and implementation across eCommerce channels, ensuring content is accurate, optimized for user experience, and aligned with brand guidelines. The Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is brand-safe and optimized for search engines. Key responsibilities include managing content syndication, optimizing the digital shelf through experimentation, and analyzing media & conversion metrics. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in eCommerce content strategy, ideally in CPG, and experience with major eCommerce platforms and PIM tools.

Salary: 76K - 84K

POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the DTC eCommerce Sales team, the Digital Merchandising Lead will assume responsibility for organic content strategy and updates across eCommerce channels. They will ensure all content is accurate and optimized for user experience, as well as aligned to the needs of each specific channel. Beyond executing updates, they will work with cross-functional stakeholders across brand marketing, web, sales, and creative/regulatory to ensure all content is brand-safe and optimized for search engines and agentic models. The ideal candidate will bring a strong interest in evolving digital media technology, as well as a strategic mindset and bias for action. They will bring an analytical mindset, understanding how engagement and conversion metrics are impacted by content strategy.

Essential Functions & Core Responsibilities

Own organic content strategy (within the brand guideline framework), creative briefing and implementation across retailer brand stores, organic PDP content, A+ content, review syndication. Set standard for eCommerce merchandising across channels (eRetailers + DTC) optimizing the digital shelf through continuous experimentation

Assortment, competitive, promo strategy, analysis, and recapping; working cross-functionally with brand teams, DTC sales & ops and performance marketing

Assists in Product Information Management (PIM) syndication across channels, developing process improvements to increase efficiency with PIM coordinator

Strong understanding of media & conversion metrics, and ability to use insights to maximize engagement and purchase intent

Future-forward mindset, deep interest in bringing new tool and platform product updates to enhance automation and high-volume content updates

Position Qualifications

3+ years experience in eCommerce content strategy, ideally in a CPG vertical

3+ years working with eCommerce retailers and/or DTC sales channels (Amazon, Target, Walmart, DTC sites)

Other Preferred Skills & Abilities

Must be proficient with MS Office and have advanced Excel and PPT skills (Pivot Tables + charts, VLookups, Macros)

Experience with content syndication/PIM tool, owning updates across major eCommerce platforms for a 100+ product portfolio (Syndigo, Salsify)

Physical Demands – Manufacturing

This position operates on an active plant floor, requiring candidates to remain stationary or move throughout the facility for shifts up to 8–10 hours. Essential duties involve positioning self to operate tools, using fine motor dexterity to adjust components, and lifting or transferring materials weighing 10-50 pounds depending on the position. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment requiring strict compliance with mandatory safety protocols and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
