Role summary

Ivy Glen is seeking a full-time Program Manager to oversee services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role involves direct client care, ensuring client safety, privacy, and confidentiality. Responsibilities include managing program finances, scheduling staff meetings, maintaining a safe work environment, and coordinating equipment repairs. The Program Manager will also provide staff training, monitor budgets, expenses, and overtime, and ensure timely submission of financial documentation. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in computer software like Word and Outlook are required. MAC training will be provided. This is an onsite position located in Hamilton, AL.

DESCRIPTION

\*$500 RETENTION BONUS\* The employee will receive half after completing 3 months of employment and the remaining half after 6 months of employment.

Responsible for maintaining a viable program that provides a wide array of services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Functions as a primary care provider as needed; provides for client safety, respect, privacy, and confidentiality; establishes and monitors accounts for services and products received (e.g., van maintenance, gas, cellular services); schedules and coordinates staff meetings with staff input on the agenda; provides a safe working environment for employees; and ensures requested repairs and replacements of equipment are evaluated immediately. As needed, provides staff in-service training; monitors and complies with staffing patterns, budget, expenses, overtime, and all financial variables; and submits check requests, invoices, expense reports, and time sheets on time. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.

Pay Rate: Will be discussed during the interview.

Schedule: Full-time; will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma, HS transcripts, or GED/HS equivalency certificate.
  • A current/valid non-expired driver's license or state-issued ID card. The minimum age for employment is 18. *If the position requires driving,* *you must be a minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record.*
  • Social security card
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as Word and Outlook.
  • You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
  • Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
