Role summary

The Material Handler position on the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) involves moving materials, primarily glass, using specialized equipment and manual methods to support the production process. Responsibilities include understanding production schedules and inventory needs, performing basic equipment maintenance, and applying inspection procedures to ensure material quality. Prior manufacturing experience, the ability to read and perform basic math, and excellent attendance are required. The role also requires availability for overtime and emergency work.

Starting Pay $20.00 per hour

3rd Shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am (an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium paid) This position requires a two week training period on first shift (7am to 3pm).

What You'll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:

The primary responsibility of this position will be sorting and staging glass for production on first shift.

Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process

Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule

Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting

Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products

What We’re Looking For

Prior manufacturing experience

Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure

Punctual and excellent attendance

Be available for overtime and emergency work
