Role summary

The CNC Programmer is responsible for entering custom patterns into the CAD system, interpreting and entering sketches for CNC Operators, and assisting with scheduling. This role requires a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with AutoCAD (2005 or later) and proficiency in CAD/CAM software. The ideal candidate possesses strong mathematical and logical aptitude, accuracy in data entry, and excellent problem-solving skills with minimal guidance. This is a full-time position within the Production Administration Department, focused on quality and self-driven execution.

What You’ll Get to Do

The CNC Programmer is focused on entering all custom patterns into the CAD system for production, interpreting and entering sketches to be produced, assisting with scheduling, and supporting team members and reports to the Fabrication Supervisor.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Entering all custom patterns into the Computer Aided Design (CAD) System
  • Interpret and enter sketches to be produced by our CNC Operators
  • Operate Computer Aided Design (CAD) System

    • What We Are Looking For

  • Auto-CAD (2005 or later) Training Certificate with 2-4 years of work experience
  • Must possess the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as the ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software
  • Must have high mathematic and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure (millimeters and inches)
  • Accuracy in data entry
  • Must be highly detail oriented and can solve problems with minimal guidance
  • Self-starter, motivated with ability to complete projects on time
