Role summary

One Medical is a primary care provider seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their West Portal office. This hybrid, full-time role offers remote flexibility and a sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include managing a patient panel, conducting in-office and virtual visits, and continuous learning. The role requires completion of an accredited FNP or PA program with national certification, state licensure in California, and at least 1-2 years of relevant outpatient primary care experience. This is a hybrid full-time role based in our West Portal office. A typical full-time (40 hour) weekly schedule consists of 24 hours of in-office patient care, 8 hours of remote virtual patient care, and 8 hours for a remote non-patient facing day. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available for this role.

    • What you’ll be working on:

  • Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
  • Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

    • Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date

    The base salary range for this role is $164,700 to $196,875 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
