Ōura is seeking a Strategic Lead for Materials Planning Transformation to redesign the function using an AI-first approach. This Individual Contributor role requires a materials planning expert to define vision, build roadmaps, and influence cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing tools/systems, automating processes, developing metrics, and managing materials planning expertise. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of supply chain experience, deep knowledge of materials planning, CM collaboration, AI/automation application, and systems integration, with a track record of driving measurable process improvements. Experience in consumer electronics is preferred. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.
Our mission at ŌURA is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We are reimagining how Materials Planning works at Oura. As the Strategic Lead, Materials Planning Transformation, you will lead that redesign. You will take an AI-first approach to rethinking the planning function end to end: how data comes in from Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers, how issues are found, and how decisions get made. You are a materials planning expert and a builder of process, workflow, and tooling who can set direction for the function and bring a broad set of partners along. This is an IC role. You will operate with significant autonomy, own outcomes for the function rather than for a single program, and influence leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT, and Product.
What You Will Do:
This is a hybrid role out of our San Francisco office.
