Pacific Crest Group seeks an experienced HR Consultant for a hybrid, part-time role in the San Francisco Bay Area. The consultant will assess client organizations, build HR infrastructure (policies, compliance, performance management, employee relations), and coach leaders to support growth and culture. This client-facing position requires 7+ years of broad HR experience across multiple industries, strong systems thinking, and the ability to advise executives. Consulting experience or SPHR certification is a plus. The role involves regular travel to client sites.

Hybrid part-time role with regular onsite work at our San Rafael office and client locations. Must be willing to travel to client sites in the greater Bay Area on a regular basis.
Compensation: Annual salary range: $125,000 - $140,000, prorated for part time schedule.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k); PTO and paid Holidays. Benefits are available to part-time employees scheduled to work 24 hours per week or more.

What You’ll Do
- Assess organizational structure, talent, and HR practices
- Build and improve HR infrastructure (policies, compliance, onboarding, performance management, employee relations)
- Coach leaders and managers on accountability and team performance
- Help growing companies scale their people practices
- Navigate employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion
- Partner with finance and operations consultants when people issues affect productivity and systems
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 7+ years of broad HR experience (employee relations, compliance, organizational development)
- Experience in multiple industries and business types

- Strong systems thinker who builds HR processes that actually get used

- Highly organized, adaptable, and self-directed - able to switch gears between multiple clients
