Role summary

Podium is seeking a Full Stack Engineer excited about AI to build from zero to one in a fast-paced environment. The role involves owning features end-to-end, influencing architecture, and collaborating with stakeholders. Requires 4+ years of production system experience, proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), and a strong user mindset. Preferred experience includes SaaS, startup environments, and the stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, Python, PostgreSQL). The position is onsite 5 days a week in Lehi, UT.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who’s excited about AI and thinks like a product owner. Someone who is scrappy, opinionated, and energized by building from zero to one in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You care more about what ships than what stack you’re shipping on, and you use AI tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as a genuine force multiplier, not a novelty. At Podium, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that directly shape the success of our platform and the businesses we support.

What You Will Be Doing:

You'll own features end-to-end, from the first design conversation to production. You'll influence architecture, collaborate closely with product, design and business stakeholders, and help keep our systems reliable as we scale. You'll also invest in the people around you: sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and raising the team's collective ceiling. Contributing to a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement, while staying ahead of trends in AI.

What You Should Have:

  • 2-3+ years building and shipping production systems, full stack.
  • Strong user mindset and problem solving skills, with a track record of carrying out innovative solutions in fast-paced, impact oriented environments.
  • A hands-on, daily relationship with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) - you've figured out how to move meaningfully faster with them.
  • Demonstrates a strong bias for action and deep intellectual curiosity, proactively exploring emerging technologies and unfamiliar domains.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, seeking clarity whenever needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and tackle ambiguous problems head-on.
  • Must be local and available to work in-office, 5 days per week in our Lehi, UT HQ.

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to create and refine impactful solutions.
  • Exposure to our current stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, Python, PostgreSQL) and AI technologies, or genuine curiosity to pick it up fast.
