Role summary
Pronto AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own customer-facing commitments for their autonomous vehicle technology deployments in mines, quarries, and construction sites. This role involves building and maintaining a centralized calendar of all customer milestones and deadlines, proactively identifying and flagging at-risk dates, and serving as the single point of communication for timeline changes. The ideal candidate has external program management experience, particularly in handling difficult conversations about schedule slips with paying customers. Experience in deployment, customer success, or with hardware/field-deployed technology, autonomous vehicles, or robotics is preferred. This is an onsite role in San Francisco.
Who we are Pronto AI is a global leader in commercializing autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, deploying Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) that automate operations in mines, quarries, and construction sites worldwide. While much of the industry remains in R&D, we deliver real, production-ready autonomy that is already operating in the field. We are on a mission to make mining operations safer, smarter, and more efficient through cutting-edge technology, and we are building toward becoming the world’s first profitable AV technology company.
About the role
The Customer Milestones Delivery TPM owns a single tracked calendar of every customer-facing commitment across Pronto's active deployments, and is the one consistent voice when a date is at risk or has to move. Today, customer dates live across scattered trackers and get communicated by whichever team happens to be closest to the customer at the time. This role replaces that with one owner, one calendar, and one voice.
