Role summary

Propel Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one therapy to children with Autism in a center-based setting. Responsibilities include implementing skill acquisition plans, facilitating learning opportunities in natural environments, supporting social interactions, collecting accurate data, and writing session notes. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships through play and engagement, while prioritizing client dignity. Propel offers paid time off, holidays, health insurance, career development, and mentorship from BCBAs. A high school diploma, RBT certification, driver's license, and background check are required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Registered Behavior Technician/ RBT

Intro:

Propel Autism is looking for fun, engaging RBT’s who are excited about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism. If you are a Registered Behavior Technician looking for a company committed to providing you with supportive, in person supervision from BCBA’s who are invested in your growth and development, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Center-based RBT you will:

  • Provide one on one therapy focused on skill acquisition to a child in the Propel clinic
  • Accompany your client throughout their day, capturing and contriving learning opportunities in the natural environment.
  • Collaboratively scaffold your client’s social interactions with their peers and their participation in group activities in the clinic.
  • Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build a strong relationship with your client
  • Keep your client’s dignity and assent at the forefront of all interactions
  • Take accurate data and write detailed session notes that are submitted same day as services being delivered.

    • You will need:

  • An RBT certification through the BACB (bacb.com)
  • A high school diploma at minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must pass Propel administered background check
  • Must have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
