About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Manager to help decide what Pump builds next as we grow from cloud savings into AI cost optimization. You’ll own key parts of our platform, from savings and billing visibility across AWS, GCP, and Azure to tracking LLM and AI usage. Your job is to turn customer problems into products thousands of companies rely on. You’ll work directly with our founders, engineers, and designers with little process in between, and help shape our company culture and values.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for your product area, from discovery and prioritization to launch and iteration
  • Talk to customers constantly, including engineers, platform teams, and finance leaders, to understand their cloud and AI cost pain points
  • Write clear product specs and work closely with engineering and design to ship fast without cutting quality
  • Use data to make decisions: define success metrics, track adoption, and measure the savings our features deliver
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing on launches, positioning, and customer feedback loops
  • Stay ahead of changes in cloud pricing, the FinOps tooling market, and AI infrastructure
  • Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup
  • Track record of shipping technical products that customers adopted and paid for
  • Technical enough to go deep with engineers on infrastructure, APIs, and data, without needing a translator
  • Strong product sense, with a preference for clean, simple user experiences
  • Comfortable with SQL and analytics tools; makes decisions from data
  • Hands-on with AI tools like Claude and Cursor to prototype, analyze, and move faster
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Available to work 5 days a week onsite in our San Francisco office
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, observability, dev tools, or FinOps
  • Experience with usage-based or consumption-priced products
  • Former engineer or founder
  • Benefits

  • Competitive compensation + equity
  • Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage for you
  • 401(k) plan
  • Generous PTO: 13 accrued days, plus company shutdown December 24–January 1
  • Free lunch & dinner at the office
  • Annual company-paid retreats
  • Developmental bonuses: support for professional development tied to cloud and related fields
