Role summary

Rest Stop Ministries seeks a Residential Program Manager in Lebanon, TN, to lead their program for female survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and trauma-informed environment, and managing program staff. Rest Stop Ministries exists to comprehensively restore female survivors and stop the oppression of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. We provide long-term residential care, workforce development, and alumni support through a trauma-informed, faith-based model.

Position Summary

The Residential Program Manager provides leadership and oversight of our residential program, ensuring a structured, trauma-informed environment where survivors can heal and grow.

This role supervises program staff, ensures quality care and consistency, and works closely with leadership and clinical partners to maintain strong program outcomes and appropriate admissions.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the residential program
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment
  • Maintain consistency in program schedules and expectations
  • Oversee implementation of a phase-based program model

Staff Supervision

  • Supervise and support the Survivor Care Coordinator
  • Provide coaching, accountability, and leadership to staff
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training
  • Ensure clear communication across the team

Resident Care & Case Oversight

  • Oversee resident case plans and program progression
  • Ensure individualized, trauma-informed care
  • Monitor resident milestones and address barriers
  • Support intake, assessment, and transitions
  • Provide clinical input and oversight in the intake process to ensure applicants are appropriate for our level of care

Alumni Program Oversight

  • Provide oversight and strategic direction for alumni services
  • Work in coordination with the Survivor Care Coordinator to support alumni follow-up and resource connection
  • Support continuity of care from residential program to independent living

Clinical Leadership

  • Guide staff in crisis response and de-escalation
  • Identify and respond to mental health and trauma-related needs
  • Ensure alignment with trauma-informed and evidence-based practices

Program Operations

  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting
  • Communicate regularly with leadership on program needs
  • Support ongoing program improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (social work, counseling, psychology, or related field)
  • Clinical experience with trauma-impacted populations required
  • Licensure (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or similar) strongly preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in residential or trauma-informed programs
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with empathy, maintain boundaries, and build trust
  • Alignment with the mission and faith-based values of Rest Stop Ministries

Position Details

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Some evenings and weekends required
  • Location: Lebanon, TN
  • Reports to: Executive Director
