<Duties>

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), and Python to streamline deployment processes.
• Manage virtualization environments utilizing VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix to optimize resource utilization and support containerized applications.
• Build and maintain web services and APIs using RESTful principles with languages such as JavaScript, Java, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and .NET for seamless application integration.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to develop microservices architectures supporting SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.
• Conduct system hardening and security assessments to safeguard cloud infrastructure against vulnerabilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Jenkins, Git, Meraki, and PowerShell scripts; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support database management tasks involving MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server with expertise in T-SQL and PL/SQL for data integrity and availability.
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software development cycles while maintaining quality standards throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

<Skills>

• Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture principles across multiple platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace, and OpenStack.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and Citrix solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; automation tools including Ansible, Chef, Puppet; version control systems like Git.
• Deep understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, microservices design patterns for scalable application development.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; expertise in SQL/T-SQL/PL/SQL for data management tasks.
• Knowledge of network security practices including VPNs and system hardening techniques to protect cloud environments.
• Experience deploying web services using JavaScript frameworks (Node.js), Java Spring Boot applications or Ruby on Rails; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins or similar tools.
• Understanding of operating systems including Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments for comprehensive system management.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies supporting continuous improvement in software development processes. Pay: $41.38-$95.11 per hour
