Role summary

SGB-SMIT USA, an international transformer manufacturer, seeks a Field Service Technician to support substation repairs, testing, and oil processing. The role requires basic understanding of substation electrical apparatus and safe troubleshooting skills using basic test equipment. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with specialized training in a technical discipline, trade school, or electrical theory education preferred. Military experience is a plus. This is a hands-on role contributing to the energy transition.

Your tasks: 📌

Assist with substation repairs, testing and or oil processing.
Basic Understanding of substation electrical apparatus and substations.
Capable of assisting with repairs, testing and oil processing.
Safe and sound troubleshooting skills using basic test equipment.

Your profile: 🔎

High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
Specialized training in technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory education preferred.
Military experience is a plus.
