Role summary

Silverado Lee's Summit is seeking compassionate Part Time Caregivers for their memory care facility. This role involves providing hands-on support with daily living activities, building relationships with residents and families, and maintaining care records. The ideal candidate is empathetic, reliable, and passionate about helping individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions live with dignity. We’re hiring Caregivers - compassionate team members who provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. This role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
  • Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
  • Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets

    • Schedule: Part Time, AM shift, every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

    Anticipated pay range$18—$21 USD
