Role summary

Silverado Lee's Summit is seeking compassionate Part Time Caregivers for their memory care facility. This role involves providing hands-on support to residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions, assisting with daily living activities, building relationships, and maintaining care records. The ideal candidate is empathetic, reliable, a team player, and possesses effective communication skills. Physical stamina for walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Experience in memory care is preferred but not mandatory. The schedule includes NOC shifts every other Saturday and Sunday, with 8-hour shifts. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
  • Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
  • Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets

    Anticipated pay range$18—$21 USD
