Role summary

Silverado St. Charles, a memory care innovator, is seeking dedicated Laundry Aides to maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a compassionate approach to service. Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, sorting, and handling laundry, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks and work with individuals with dementia. The position offers a PM shift schedule and competitive pay and benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens
  • Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

    • Schedule: Full Time, Sunday-Thursday (OFF Friday/Saturday), 11:00am-7:30pm

    Anticipated pay range$18—$21 USD
