This is a broad, hands-on role with opportunities to contribute across Salesforce, transportation management systems, software integrations, process improvements, reporting, and new technology initiatives. Responsibilities will evolve as business needs change, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, and takes ownership of getting things done.

The ideal candidate has experience owning or executing technology projects, practical Salesforce experience, and the ability to turn business needs into workable solutions. Experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute assigned technology projects, working with the Business Systems Manager to define requirements, organize tasks, track timelines, communicate progress, and follow through on implementation.
  • Work with internal teams to understand their workflows, identify system limitations, and develop practical improvements that support business and customer needs.
  • Configure, maintain, and improve Salesforce to support business workflows, reporting, automation, and user needs.
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our transportation management system and other business applications.
  • Coordinate with software vendors, technical partners, and internal stakeholders on system enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Help design, test, implement, and support technology solutions, including system configurations, interfaces, and workflow changes.
  • Develop reports and improve access to information that helps teams manage their work and make decisions.
  • Create documentation and help users understand and adopt new systems, features, and processes.
  • Stay updated about relevant technology and recommend tools or improvements that could benefit the business.
  • Build an understanding of transportation and logistics operations and how our systems support employees, customers, and business goals.
  • Contribute to additional technology and systems initiatives as priorities evolve.
  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or a related field required
  • Experience working with business systems, technology implementations, or systems improvement projects
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience as an administrator or advanced user, including experience supporting workflows, reporting, or system configuration
  • Experience owning or executing technology projects, with the ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and follow through on deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Comfort working across multiple platforms and learning unfamiliar systems
  • A proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities
