Staff Accountant

At SimPL Freight Solutions, we simplify transportation for companies that move a lot of freight but don’t want the headache of managing it all themselves. We step in as their transportation team - coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, tracking performance, and improving how everything runs behind the scenes.

Our customers range from large manufacturers to high-volume distributors across industries like automotive, building materials, food, and packaging. No matter the industry, the goal is the same: keep freight moving smoothly, efficiently, and without surprises.

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm

Location: Onsite, Raleigh, NC

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant who enjoys working with numbers, digging into details, and finding ways to make processes more efficient. In this role, you’ll support reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting activities while partnering with our Controller and finance team to strengthen processes and support the company’s growth.

Scope

The Staff Accountant works under moderate supervision, exercising independent judgment. This person must be action-oriented, self-motivated, and creative while being highly functional.
