Role summary

Spring Oak is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join their family-like team. This part-time, onsite role involves assisting residents with daily personal care, hygiene, and medication administration, as well as supporting their emotional well-being and updating service plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and an understanding of the aging process. Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily personal care and hygiene needs

Provide compassionate support, supervision, and companionship

Administer routine medications in accordance with applicable state guidelines

Assist with developing and updating individualized resident service plans

Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being

Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and fellow team members

Contribute to a positive, uplifting community where residents and staff can thrive

Qualifications:

Current CHHA Certification

Completion of applicable required training courses

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compassion, patience, and empathy

Understanding of and appreciation for the aging process

A dependable team player who genuinely enjoys helping others

Shift:

Part time- 7:00 am-3:00 pm

Part time 3:00pm-11:00pm
