About The Role
The HR Data Analyst at Bloomin' Brands plays a vital role in supporting Human Resources Technology and Shared Services functions. This position is responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting, performing comprehensive data analysis, executing audits, and providing data support across Workday and related HR technology platforms. The role collaborates closely with HRIS, Payroll, Legal, Internal Audit, Accounting, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Restaurant Operations teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and actionable insights. Based out of the Tampa Restaurant Support Center, this primarily remote position requires candidates to reside within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office periodically. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in HRIS, data analytics, or reporting
- Experience with Workday reporting preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience supporting data audits, reporting, or data validation processes preferred
- Experience working with HR, Payroll, or related data preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and identify meaningful trends
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday reports and dashboards to support operational and functional needs
- Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Support improvements to existing reports to enhance usability and efficiency
- Assist in developing standardized reporting processes where applicable
- Manage day-to-day ad hoc reporting requests across HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Accounting, and leadership teams
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions
- Ensure the accuracy, validation, and timely delivery of all reporting outputs
- Build repeatable solutions to support recurring reporting needs
- Execute recurring and ad hoc data audits across HR systems to maintain data integrity
- Identify data inconsistencies and collaborate with HRIS and business stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support ongoing data quality initiatives to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain documentation related to data audits and reporting processes
- Support mass data loads (EIBs), including validation and reconciliation processes
- Assist with data aspects of system integrations, including report development and data validation
- Troubleshoot data issues related to integrations and partner with HRIS teams to identify trends or problems impacting data quality
