About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer to join our dynamic design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects that impact the financial industry. As a Product Designer at Praxent, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that align with client goals and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality design solutions. This position is categorized as remote, allowing you to work from a location of your choice within the United States, provided you meet the legal work authorization requirements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working in Agile or software delivery environments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of user-centered thinking and ability to translate business goals into compelling designs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks or design handoff processes to engineering teams is a plus
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Design user experiences for well-defined projects with guidance, including wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and collaborative design sessions
  • Develop and iterate on UI/UX solutions based on user feedback and testing
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and clients to ensure design consistency and quality
  • Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation
  • Create detailed design documentation and specifications for development teams
  • Support the team in maintaining design standards and best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and tools into your work
