About The Role
We are seeking talented and passionate product designers to join our dynamic design department. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in CO, FL, GA, MA, MD, MN, NE, NC, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, and WA. The role is part of an ongoing talent pool aimed at building a pipeline of "final‑round ready" candidates, with anticipated hiring in 2026. As a product designer at Praxent, you will be instrumental in creating compelling user experiences across various projects, from well‑defined to complex initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to develop innovative UI/UX solutions that align with business goals and user needs. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a supportive environment that encourages creativity, continuous learning, and professional development.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working in Agile or software delivery environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered thinking, ability to translate business goals into intuitive designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and design handoff processes is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Design user experiences for a variety of projects, following best practices and guided frameworks.
  • Create wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and other deliverables to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile rituals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
  • Ensure all design deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices to continuously enhance design quality.
