About The Role
The role at Praxent is a strategic position within the US-based Design Department, focusing on product design and user experience. This evergreen role is designed to build a pool of highly qualified candidates who are "final‑round ready" for future hiring needs, anticipated to begin in 2026. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely from various states including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. As part of the design team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to create innovative, user-centered digital experiences. The role involves participating in all phases of the design process—from research and wireframing to prototyping and final delivery—ensuring high-quality, impactful solutions that meet both business goals and user needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related field
- Experience working in Agile or software delivery environments is preferred
- Proficiency in UX/UI design principles and visual design
- Strong skills in interaction design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to translate business objectives and user needs into intuitive designs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks or design handoff processes is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
Responsibilities
- Design user experiences for well-defined projects under guidance, creating wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes
- Participate actively in sprints and collaborative team activities to ensure design consistency and quality
- Develop and iterate on UI/UX solutions based on user research, feedback, and testing results
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth design handoffs and implementation
- Contribute to the development of design systems and best practices within the team
- Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs
- Support junior team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment
- Ensure all deliverables meet project standards, deadlines, and client expectations
