Role summary
Tecovas is seeking a Store Assortment Planner to join their Planning & Allocation team in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for developing and executing store-level assortments across boots, apparel, and accessories. Key responsibilities include pre-season capacity and choice count planning, door and format planning, and in-season assortment management. The planner will partner with various departments, including Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Operations. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in retail planning, assortment planning, allocation, or merchandising, strong analytical skills in Excel and AI tools, and experience with capacity planning and store clustering. This is a full-time, onsite position with a competitive salary and benefits.

Tecovas is looking for a Store Assortment Planner to help get the right assortment into every one of our stores. This role is part of our Planning & Allocation team, built to give each store an assortment that fits its space, its customer, and its potential. You'll build and execute store-level assortments across the entire line, from pre-season capacity and choice count planning through in-season reviews and adjustments, and bring recommendations backed by data to the team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Allocation, you'll partner closely with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Operations, to grow the function as it expands from store assortments today to department and class planning at the store level tomorrow.
This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
