Role summary
The Tile Shop is seeking a Sales Design Consultant to join their team. This role involves proactively greeting customers, building lasting relationships, and selling tile and related products to exceed expectations. The consultant will educate customers on product installation and use, track sales goals and store orders, and maintain a professional appearance. The position requires a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment, and a good sense of design. Basic mathematical and computer skills, along with English proficiency, are necessary. This is an onsite, full-time position with expected first-year earnings between $45K and $75K through a draw plus commission structure.
- Proactively greet customers professionally
- Develop lasting customer relationships by treating customers with courtesy
- Conduct follow-up customer communication
- Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
- Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
- Understand and track established individual sales goals
- Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
- Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Work evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations
