Role summary

Titan Security is seeking Security Officers for a site in Dearborn, Michigan. Responsibilities include maintaining visibility through patrols, controlling access by verifying credentials, monitoring CCTV for suspicious activities and security breaches, and logging visitor/vehicle entries and exits. Officers will observe for security threats like suspicious behavior or illegal activities and report incidents to authorities, documenting them thoroughly. Candidates must be at least 18, possess a valid driver's license, have a High School diploma or GED, and pass a drug screen and background check. Previous security experience is preferred. Compensation starts at $15.25 per hour, with benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

Titan Security is currently hiring Security Officers to work at a location in Dearborn, Michigan.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Maintain Visibility: Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
  • Access Control / Verify Credentials: Ensure that individuals attempting to enter the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
  • Surveillance: Continuously monitor CCTV cameras placed around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or any security breaches.
  • Monitor Entry and Exit Points: Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles are entering or exiting the lot by checking identification, vehicle registration, or other access control protocols.
  • Log Entries and Exits of Visitors, Vendors, and/or Vehicles: Keep a detailed log of all people or trucks entering or leaving the premises, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pick-up details.
  • Observe for Security Threats: Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering individuals, or any signs of illegal activities such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
  • Incident Reporting: Immediately report any security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document the incident thoroughly.

    • Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Previous experience in security is preferred.
