Role summary
TripSuite is an early-stage, venture-backed startup building travel agency software, focusing initially on payment processing for travel professionals. They are seeking a Founding Fintech Developer to design and build a new core application from the ground up. This role requires 4+ years of software development experience, a background in fintech, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities include system architecture, writing clean, testable, and scalable code, and contributing to a user-focused web application. Experience with payment processing, virtual credit cards, and financial applications is preferred. The position is fully remote.

Where You Meet TripSuite
With your background in fintech, you’ll be tasked with building a new application and contributing to some of the most critical parts of the platform which are at the heart of the business. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that’s pivotal to the future of our company. We’re an early-stage startup, so we’re looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the CTO.
You Will:
- Design and build a core part of a high-performance, secure, and user-focused web application
- Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to build features and improvements
- Be a key player in system architecture, frameworks, technologies, and everything that makes for great software
- Bring best practices for writing clean, testable, and scalable code
- Understand our clients’ journey and build software that enables best-in-class experiences
- Build an innovative product to revolutionize the travel industry
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in fintech
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience with virtual / single-use credit cards
- Experience with payment processing (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
- Experience with financial applications
