Job Summary:

Manages the development and implementation of an academic program or set of funded activities. Programs are usually focused to a single purpose, may be scientific, research, educational, or service oriented, and may exist as a subset of an integrated funded program activity. Oversees fiscal and grant planning, program implementation and administration, marketing, and communication. This job profile does not supervise program staff.

Job Description:

  • Develops and oversees program plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that programs are developed and implemented on time and within budget.
  • Collaborates with faculty and other stakeholders to develop and refine academic program content.
  • Manages program-related data and records, including student records, accreditation reports, and program evaluations, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement in program quality and effectiveness.
  • Leads program marketing and recruitment efforts, working with marketing and communications staff to develop and implement marketing campaigns and recruitment strategies.
  • Serves as a liaison between the program and other departments and stakeholders within the University to ensure effective coordination and alignment of program goals and objectives with broader institutional priorities and strategic plans.

  • Participates in the development of objectives and goals and develops procedures to efficiently manage operations.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manages and maintains departmental records.
  • Serves as liaison to internal and external constituents.
  • Facilitates communication and networking among staff and faculty to build collaborative relationships.
  • Monitors expenses related to programs.
  • Collects, organizes, maintains, and tracks data.
  • May supervise, train, and coordinate the activities of subordinate staff.
  • Collects and analyzes data for use in making recommendations, assessing progress, reporting to internal or external constituents, and/or developing proposals.
  • Attends related meetings and conferences.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

$68,681.60 - $103,001.60
