Role summary

A fast-growing technology company is seeking a full-time, 100% remote Forward Deployed Engineer in Canada. This role involves acting as a technical bridge between customers and product engineering, delivering AI-driven enterprise software solutions. Responsibilities include solving business challenges, influencing product direction, and working with cutting-edge AI tooling. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong full-stack skills (React, TypeScript, Python, SQL), customer-facing experience, cloud platform knowledge (AWS), and experience with AI orchestration. Desired skills include FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Terraform, solutions engineering, and SaaS experience.

Located in Canada (100% remote), this full-time opportunity is with a fast-growing technology company building AI-driven enterprise software. Leveraging technologies including AI orchestration, React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, and enterprise ERP integrations, you'll serve as the technical bridge between customers and product engineering while delivering mission-critical solutions in production environments.

The coolest part of this role is the ability to directly shape both customer outcomes and future product capabilities. This is not a traditional implementation or solutions engineering position. You'll be embedded with customers, solving real business challenges, influencing product direction, and working with cutting-edge AI tooling to automate and accelerate delivery. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys tackling difficult integration problems, thrives in customer-facing environments, and wants broad exposure across engineering, architecture, AI, and enterprise systems.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and SQL
Customer-facing engineering experience devlivering production solutions
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with AI copilots, agents, or AI orchestration workflows

Desired Skills & Experience

FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, or Terraform experience
Solutions engineering or technical consulting background
Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience
