Role summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Home Manager to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, household tasks, and personal care, while fostering independence and ensuring health and safety. Paid training is provided, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration. A reliable vehicle, valid Ohio driver's license, and car insurance are required for transporting individuals. Experience is preferred but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for those starting a career in healthcare or seeking caregiver experience.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Home Manager
A Great Opportunity /$18.75- $19.75 per hour.

Responsibilities may include: 
  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times. 
  • Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life. 
  • Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. 
  • Providing personal care assistance.
Requirements for this position include: 
  • At least 18 years of age. 
  • At least 1 year experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served required.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
  • Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
    • ​No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
    • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
  • Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
