Role summary
Walmart is seeking experienced Refrigeration Technicians for their Georgia locations. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing commercial HVAC/R systems, ensuring comfort and food safety. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, repairing equipment, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates must have at least 2 years of commercial HVAC or refrigeration experience, Universal EPA certification, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Relocation assistance is available.
What you’ll do
Diagnose, repair, and optimize commercial HVAC/R systems. Refrigeration technicians protect comfort and food safety by keeping our cooling and climate systems dialed in. You will respond to issues, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, then follow up with preventive maintenance across assigned locations to help prevent downtime.
Is this for you?
- 2 plus years of commercial HVAC or refrigeration experience
- Universal EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) or EPA Type I and II certification for refrigerant handling
- Confident using gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to find electrical and mechanical issues
- Comfortable working on rooftop units, refrigeration racks, compressors, and control systems
- Proud of quality work, safety, and code compliance
- Able to work independently, manage calls, and prioritize urgent repairs
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
Schedule
Monday to Friday; Some nights and weekend work will be required based on business needs
