Role summary

West Cancer Center is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods. This role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, and managing resources efficiently. The position requires completion of an accredited radiography program, ARRT certification (CT certification within 18 months of hire), and BLS certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a meaningful role supporting patients through challenging times in a collaborative, mission-driven environment with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Position Overview:

As a CT Technologist I, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibility will be operating imaging equipment to conduct procedures tailored to our specified patient population. Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
  • Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment. Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.

    • Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
  • Certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
  • Must have CT certification within 18 months of date of hire.
  • BLS is required.
  • New graduates of an accredited program without ARRT will be accepted and must obtain certification and registry within one year of graduation date.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
