Role summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator with strong Linux experience. The role involves managing and monitoring IT infrastructure, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting system issues to ensure high availability and performance, and collaborating with development teams. Responsibilities also include automating tasks using scripting and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform, ensuring system security, and maintaining documentation. A Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph is required, and candidates must be U.S. citizens. Ten years of relevant experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems administrator who has strong Linux experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance

Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues

Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)

Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls

Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures

Stay current with DevOps trends

Requirements

Security Clearance:

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required

Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Benefits

Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
