Role summary

Holder Construction is seeking a MEP Senior Engineer for a full-time, in-person role in Lithia Springs, GA, supporting a fabrication facility. The role involves overseeing mechanical and electrical projects, managing contractors, coordinating schedules and budgets, and ensuring the reliability and operation of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments, project management skills, and experience managing contractors. Preferred experience includes electrical equipment manufacturing, industrial facilities, fabrication operations, or advanced manufacturing.

    • About the RoleWe are looking for a MEP Senior Engineer to join our MEP team in Lithia Springs, GA. This is a full-time, in-person position supporting a fabrication facility that manufactures electrical equipment and related products.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical and electrical projects, upgrades, maintenance initiatives, and facility improvements within an active fabrication and manufacturing environment.
  • Supervise Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors, vendors, and service providers supporting facility operations.
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from planning through completion.
  • Support the operation, reliability, installation, and modification of complex manufacturing equipment, utility systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Partner with facility leadership, operations teams, and external partners to minimize production disruptions and maintain safe, efficient operations.

    • Qualifications

    Required:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or commercial environments.
  • Experience managing mechanical and electrical projects within active manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial facilities.
  • Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
  • Strong ability to manage relationships with facility leadership, owners' representatives, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, industrial facilities, fabrication operations, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
