Overview

We are looking for skilled, compassionate Part-time Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistants - CNA/STNA(s) on 12-hour shifts –who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA promotes residents’ independence by supporting the resident in doing as much for self as possible while providing high-quality care.

Status:

Part-time from 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., every other weekend and holiday

Pay: Starting from $18.50/hour in Skilled Nursing, increases with experience

Shift differential of $3.00/hour paid for hours worked from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and $1.50/hour shift differential for hours worked from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulatory, and hair care.

Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.

Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.

Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.

Perform other duties as need arises and/or assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry. However, see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!

Experience: good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
