Role summary

Our Machine Operator, Weekend Shift is responsible for maintaining all filling machines in the facility. This role involves setting up, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining equipment to meet production schedules, monitoring machines for optimal performance, and troubleshooting operational problems. The operator will ensure quality products through periodic checks and maintain activity logs. This position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, and working in a GMP facility.

Job Summary:

Our Machine Operator, Weekend Shift is responsible for maintaining all filling machines in the facility.

  • Location: Johnson City, TN

    • Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

  • Set-up, clean, repair and maintain equipment to meet our production schedules
  • Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
  • Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
  • Perform random tests to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure that machines are producing quality products by monitoring periodic checks on output
  • Maintain activity logs
  • Assist in other areas as needed

    • Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational training as a machine operator, with 2-3 years of experience
  • Must be mechanically inclined with good troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail a must

    • Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
  • Work in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility, wearing lab coats, hairnets, beard guards in the production area
