Role summary

Silverado Escondido is seeking compassionate Caregivers for part-time NOC shifts on Sundays and Mondays. This role involves providing hands-on support with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The ideal candidate is empathetic, reliable, and skilled in building relationships, with a passion for helping others live with dignity. Responsibilities include direct care, maintaining records, and reporting changes to the nursing team. Experience in memory care is preferred but not required. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
  • Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
  • Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
  • Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effective communicator in verbal and written English
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working around animals and pets

    Anticipated pay range$20—$22 USD
