About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join our Product Development Team. In this role, you will be integral to the development of Kyivstar’s web application designed for customer support. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team comprising product managers, analysts, developers, and designers to deliver innovative digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, automating tests, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant working experience in QA automation or related fields
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience with JMeter and SOAP UI
• Excellent understanding of manual testing principles for mobile and web UI
• Proven ability to develop test strategies and test plans
• Knowledge of test design techniques and methodologies
• Experience with integration testing
• Basic SQL skills for database validation
• Familiarity with web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Understanding of RESTful API principles and automation testing
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Good command of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver digital innovations and improve product quality
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Perform manual acceptance testing and regression testing to ensure functionality and stability
• Automate test cases and support existing test automation frameworks
• Document testing activities, generate reports, and track issues
• Participate in test strategy and test plan creation to align testing efforts with project goals
• Conduct integration testing to verify interactions between different system components
• Utilize SQL to validate data integrity and backend processes
• Test web and mobile user interfaces, ensuring usability and performance standards are met
• Engage in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
