About The Role
Milliman is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Global Corporate Services (GCS) team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing and maintaining Java-based test automation frameworks, with a focus on cloud-native applications and Microsoft cloud solutions such as SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure. The role involves designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and security of complex web, API, and backend components. Collaboration within an Agile environment, utilizing DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub, is essential for success. The QA Automation Engineer will also leverage AI-driven testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and defect detection, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring seamless software releases.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in QA and test automation for cloud-based applications or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer working with cloud technologies
• Proficiency with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, WebDriver Manager, Rest Assured, and Extent Reports
• Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for SharePoint, React applications, and Azure cloud solutions
• Strong scripting and coding skills, particularly with APIs validation
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools including GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks for web, API, and cloud-native solutions using Java, Selenium, and TestNG
• Create and automate test cases for Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure-based applications, covering frontend and backend components
• Implement automated regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing to ensure high-quality releases
• Perform black box and other testing methods to cover both positive and negative test flows
• Participate in design discussions and requirements reviews to provide testing insights and feedback
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and collaborate with developers and support teams to prepare RCA reports
• Leverage AI-based tools and frameworks to develop test cases and identify defects proactively
• Collaborate within an Agile team, assisting in sprint planning, defining acceptance criteria, and identifying testing dependencies
• Utilize Azure DevOps and GitHub for planning, tracking, and documenting testing activities
• Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and support scheduled test executions
