Role summary
Von Maur is seeking a Cosmetics Department Manager for their Charlestown Mall location. This role is responsible for driving beauty and skincare business growth by motivating and coaching sales associates, ensuring outstanding customer service, and executing department goals. The manager will also perform sales associate duties, assess performance, provide feedback, and implement solutions for customer and department needs. The position offers competitive wages ($20.00 - $22.00/hr base) plus commission, a merchandise discount, and comprehensive benefits.

You drive beauty and skincare business growth through building and maintaining relationships, executing events, and inspiring associates to provide effective customer consultations and top-tier service.
What You’ll Do:
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service – train, coach and lead by example
- Execute all duties of a cosmetics sales associate
- Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service the customer receives, increase sales, and meet department goals
- Provide feedback to associates on service, selling, and account statistics
- Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and department needs
- Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts

The expected base wage for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr with commission* and overtime eligibility. Successful candidates’ wages will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
