Role summary

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead analytics efforts related to our go-to-market (GTM) and customer servicing operations, with a primary focus on developing and enhancing our “Customer 360” view. Your responsibilities will include connecting data across marketing, sales, product, and customer support functions to provide a comprehensive understanding of how brokers and customers interact throughout their lifecycle. This insight will enable us to optimize acquisition, onboarding, support, and retention strategies.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize sales funnels, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and lifetime value. By building robust data models, dashboards, and journey analytics, you will deliver a single source of truth for leadership, empowering data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly influence strategic initiatives aimed at growth and customer retention, ensuring our analytics infrastructure aligns with business objectives and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related role with a proven impact on marketing, GTM, or customer experience outcomes
- 4+ years of domain experience in the insurance industry, supporting distribution, marketing, partnerships, or customer servicing
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex query design, data modeling, performance optimization, and documentation
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for analytical workflows
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, experiment design, and data interpretation
- Experience with BI and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and adapt to changing stakeholder needs
- Passion for data excellence, continuous learning, and stakeholder empathy
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the “Customer 360” platform, creating a unified view of customer and broker interactions across marketing, sales, and servicing touchpoints
- Lead cross-functional analytics projects utilizing advanced SQL and data modeling techniques to uncover actionable insights and identify optimization opportunities across GTM and customer lifecycle funnels
- Create data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, revenue growth, and customer retention, influencing product and marketing strategies
- Analyze and map the entire customer and broker journey from initial contact through renewal or expansion, identifying gaps and proposing data-informed solutions
- Design and implement robust data models, automated dashboards, and key performance metrics to support strategic decision-making
- Integrate, clean, and synthesize data from diverse sources such as marketing platforms, CRM systems, product usage logs, billing systems, and external datasets
- Serve as an SQL subject matter expert, mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices in query design and data documentation
- Contribute to a culture of data excellence by ensuring quality, stakeholder empathy, and continuous process improvement
